I unfortunately went the route of buying a set of new repro door handles off of eBay that "fit" 64-72 Chevelles because it was $39 a set. I put them on, and the fit was marginal at best, and did not work right. I then bit the bullet and bought a set of door handles and buttons from Trim Parts due to some things I read on here. They were not only specific for a 66-67 as there are minor differences in the years, but they fit and work flawless. They cost a bit more, $84 a set, but they are awesome. If there is anyone else out there looking to replace their old pitted door handles, Trim Parts is definitely the way to go.
