I'm looking for some recomendations on the quietest, best flowing mufflers.
On my 71 Big Block Malibu, I've got hooker super comps, with flowmaster collectors into torque tech 3" pipes w/ flowmaster three chamber mufflers, 3" turn downs under the bumper. It's not a whole lot quieter than when I ran the motor in with open headers.

On my 64 Cutlass, I just put a 69 442 400 with the W/Z dual exhaust manifolds, and a beefed grand national 200R4 trans, had some 2 1/4" pipe custom bent, and some walker turbo mufflers. I'm kinda thinkin' these mufflers are too loud too. This car is to be the cross country cruiser. I'm putting a killer sound system in this car, and I'd like to find the quietest, best flowing muffer I can find.

Any suggestions?

I like Dynomax mufflers, however, from your description of what you have on your 64 Cutlass you might not be happy with those. I would speak with your muffler shop and ask what they recommend in terms of mufflers, routing, and tips to reduce noise. Good luck.
