I want to keep my original manifolds and my original down pipes and switch out the mufflers with a set of Pypes Street Pro's no x or h pipe, and switch out the 2 inch tails in favor of a set of flowmaster 2.5 inch tail pipes to the rear bumpers.
What do you guy's think do see any problems? Work will be done at a local custom exhaust shop.
Thanks for the input.

Save you money on 'custom' if you stay with the stock manifolds exhaust pipes. You gain zip changing downstream of the exhaust (down) pipes.

The exhaust 'pulses', at higher rpm, will be restricted by the stock manifolds and exhaust pipes.

So are you saying I can't use the original down pipes that are on the car now? they are less than 2 years old, hate to put out the extra cash if I can use the ones on the car now.
The flow master down pipes are made to fit to their system. Most likely the ones on the car will not fit requiring more work/money and wont be as nice when done.
