Hi Guys,

I am getting ready to install my new engine. It is a 496. The dyno numbers are 548HP @ 5200RPM and 595 ft/lbs TQ at 3200 RPM (nearly a flat tq curve up from there).

Car is a 67 Chevelle, basically stock with regard to weight.

12 bolt with 3.90 posi, 28.5 " tall rear tires

Tremec TKO 600

The car is not complete, but I thought some of you experienced racers would have a guess about a 1/4 mile ET assuming good traction and light.

Thanks,

Matt

Your location shows Colorado. Might help the guessers if they knew the altitude/DA,, you would be running at.

Was the engine dynoed at high altitude and that is the corrected horsepower? LJ
