engine tweaked to one side

I just installed this new engine, new motor mounts. Now my problem is the whole engine is angled a tad to one side. So now the shifter linkage on my 4 speed is hitting. Is it possible I got some bad mounts? I tried shoving a handjack with a board wedged against the side of the trans, and let it sit for a few days thinking it might correct this problem. But as soon as I start to loosen the jack, I see it sliding over again. So then I moved the crossmember over to counter it, but that didn't work.

The only thing I can think of is trying new mounts.
