Engine First Start

Got the big block started the other day. Thought I would share my happiness with everyone. Didn't have the exhaust hooked up yet so it was loud but nice. Still need some tuning but at least we know it fires up. You can see my father constantly shaking his head because of course he feels it should run smooth right out of the box...LOL

Yup, 2000 to 3000 rpm for the first 20 minutes. NO IDLING!

The cam is splash lubricated and requires higher rpm during the break in period for proper lubrication.
