Does anyone have tips on the best way to install top of bed trim on a elcamino. I bought the car after the trim was removed, and am putting it back together now. The repro trim has extra places for screws that there are no holes in bed rail. Any help would be appreciated.

Start at the front and work your way back. The screws can't be tightened to the inth degree as you will need to slide the pieces together. In the front piece the outer clips with the studs can be fun because they are a little small. I bent the tabs so they were snug in the trim. You will have to work with the side rail when it snaps over the rear corner. Can you say frustrating. I spent about four hours and a six pack but it sure is a rewarding job because of all the bling.

Thanks, already did the 6 pack, I'll start at front and work my way back tomorrow. 2nd 6 pack sounds good right now.:beers:
