I was just looking at the drawing on page 24 in the Factory Assembly Manual for my '64 (section 3, sheet 4.00). It shows the lower and upper A arm bumpers both toward the REAR of the arm. Now, either both my old and new lower arms were installed reversed (is that even possible?), or Chevy goofed in their drawing. Please, tell me I'm not nuts! :confused:

You are absolutely correct, Andy. Reinforces my belief that one should never go by the instructions. Even if you are GM. l:)

First Guess: Illustration is 100% correct...for some other body style. The drawing is not from an "A" body.
