I noticed the regular RPM intake is actually cheaper than the performer intake in the summit catalog. I was thinking of replacing the torker II off of my el camino. everything I read say the dual plane is much nicer. Question I have is, first of all is it worth the swap? the truck has a 327, fuelies. unknown cam, 3.73 rear. turbo 350 stock conv. 750 eddy carb. second would the performer be a better choice? I dont want to spend the money for the air gap. just trying to find some real world experience. thanks Jim

Yes, the RPM is superior over the torker II or performer. Just mach up square bore to square bore\spread bore to spread bore on the intake\carb. I'm sure you know this tho.
The RPM is excellent from stock to perfomance, it'll be the only one you will need, unless you go to a 280+ cam.
