Anyone have a clue what
711877
711878
711879
runners and combustion chambers might be in these? Net turns up nothing other than one person asking about them too. I got them at a good price so picked them up and will build accordingly all depending on numbers. Thanks in advance.

I belive Edelbrock changed from a 4 nr part nr to a 5 nr part nr 10-15 years ago. I had a set of BBC Edelbrock heads that had just 4 nr part nr later they added a 9 to them.
Regular rpm has 60889 part nr maybe earlier rpm and e street used same head casting?

I had heard Edelbrock is closing its doors, that's a shame if it's true

Thanks folks, so I'll use those cc numbers for my build adding the extra, makes sense. No clue what's up with Edelbrock. All I get is recordings at tech and sales saying they are closed.
They are moving corporate from CA to some other state(don't rememberwhich). So may be why they don't answer.

I don't believe that is true. They have a aluminum foundry in Hemet Ca that is the best there is west of thee Mississippi. They cast almost all the aluminum heads sold by every American manufacturer out there except for the Chinese stuff.

I do know they make BBC heads for GM, maybe it was the daughter selling Eddy? I did read an article about 2 months ago that I "thought" said was closing, just read " Moving Not Folding" in another article, they're moving out of Ca. partly because Space X is hiring too many machinist

The group that owns Edelbrock also bought the Comp performance group. As far as I know they are moving the HQ to Comps location in Memphis. The foundries stay in Ca. If you do a search on "Edelbrock and Comp Group" you will find all of the current information.

Edelbrocks tech phone service has stunk for many years. They want you to use their online services.
