Far better heads out there than the Ede if you are looking for better performance than what you got. Those Ede's aren't going to perform any better than the 215's you got if the 215's are done right. You would save about 75 lbs or so but that is about it.

I would think going from 215's to Eddy 110's you would give up some compression?
Why not go to the 100cc?
When I built my motor I had 215,s that needed valves guides ect.
I weighed the cost difference between working on old heads or buying a set of Edelbrock heads.
Not being a rich person the 100cc Eddy,s fit the bill, they start out where the old iron heads wind up after being worked on, and they are new.
Also I think there is room for improving the Eddy,s
I've seen post on this site where people were running some good numbers with them.
Not the best, not the worst, but within my budget.

I would be looking at AFR 305's, ron496 has a 9.4:1 496 bbc that ran 9.92 at 133, no-trailer street car, shows how much static compression really has an effect on power!!!

Of course the right cam is needed, which has a modern aggressive lobe design to fill the cylinders to make the power.

No they are not oval port but are a small high velocity head that works very well and will have the combined throttle response and top end that you are looking for.

The chamber [cnc] option is well worth the $200-$300 xtra imo.

If it's more than you can spend now, save up and get the right parts a little later

why compromise performance ?

I honestly think you should spend your money elsewhere on your suspension, different intake/carb, converter or tires. It looks like you won't pick up much if anything with the Edelbrocks over your #215's. You appear to have good parts and and good combination. Have you tried your setup without the Victor/Dominator?

FWIW you would likely pick up a tenth from the weight loss. Is your battery in the trunk? If not that would also net some gain as it would help weight transfer. What is your rear suspension setup?
YES it's in the trunk...lakewood 50/50 rear shocks, lakewood 30" slapper bars, sub frame conn. my car is hooking with a smokie burnout:D i'm fine with it so far......
