On a 66, can you confirm that the inner wheelhouse with the large depression stamped into it goes on the driver side? I assume it does, and it's to help clear the master cylinder.

Mine were not installed when I bought it and I'm trying to determine by looking at pictures on the Internet. Thanks. Bo.

Hey Bo,
There are bolt holes on the front of the inner fender to attach the extensions. The pieces that go under the battery tray on the right & up to the center support on the left. So you should not be able to install on the wrong side.

Thanks Light Speed. Makes sense now that I pulled them down from storage and tried to bolt them on to the outer fenders. Problem is, they don't fit. And it's not an issue of which side goes where ...

I don't think I have the right inner fenders. They are OEM inner fenders, but they were not on the car with the outers when I bought the car.

Problem is, the bolt holes line up fine around the wheel well, but the two bolts with the big washers that go up vertically into the middle of the outer fender are nowhere even close to lining up. They are too far inboard (toward the motor). I'm talking a couple inches too far in board. No way they will fit. If I start by bolting those two first, the bolts along the wheel well are nowhere even close. As much as three inches off. There's no "massaging" that ...

I looked online and it looks like I have 67 inner fenders. There appear to be some differences. Can anyone confirm that 67 FRONT INNER fenders are different than 66 front inner fenders? They appear to be different when I look online, but the guy I bought it from says 66 and 67 are the same ...

The 67 and 66 are also different where they bolt to the rad. support. BTW, I need a pass. side inner fender for a 67. Mines decayed below where the battery sits.
