I don't know if my question is allowed, but I am embroiled in the middle of compiling a huge parts list, mostly for interior for my 71 Chevelle, and I can't even reach anyone at East Coast Chevelle to ask questions on availability for some parts.

Are they any good, or even still in business? Anyone buy from them recently?

I love it when companies, like NPD, will put the "in stock" or not on parts on their websites. East Coast and SS396 don't do that. I don't want to submit a huge order only to learn that half the items are on backorder.

So why not just use NPD for your parts order?
For one example, they don't have window crank handles with black knobs. They only have the clear knobs and I want black. East Coast has black, and freekin OPGI is on back order.

Honestly, I would buy things wherever you can get them. Things like door handles can be installed anytime. Get the major stuff first and then work on the detail items.

if you like that vendor, why not pick up the phone and speak to someone?

if they are not answering phones or returning emails... i think you know your answer- use another vendor who will communicate with you!

I completely agree with Brian above- get the big stuff, then get the detail stuff when you are ready for it- it never bothers me if i have to order from multiple vendors to get everything i need. just part of the game.
