Hello all, my E brake is stuck and the car will not move in drive unless I rev the motor more than 50%. Is there a way I can just disconnect the E brake cable. This is on my DD so I need to have it fixed asap. Thanks in advance.

Try getting under the car and loosening up the adjustment part of the cable.

I may not be able to answer that personally depending on the year of your car. But im sure someone can help with that answer. What year is the car in question (71 in your sig)?

There is usually a threaded rod/nut that you can either tighten or loosen the tension on the cable to loosen it up. Often it is along the cable itself under the cabin of the car. Could be under the drivers side seat area, along the frame. But that is purely a educated guestimate.
