Well, I got the Chevelle wagon on the road last week and got it to the tuners today. Here is one of the pulls on the dyno after some tuning.

It made better horsepower, but at the expense of mid-range torque, so we went for the best torque. The hp numbers also kept rising almost all the way to 7000 rpm, but we set the rev limiter at 6500 and set all shift points at 6000. There is just no reason to twist a daily driver any higher. These numbers are SAE corrected rear wheel numbers, so the little L76 is probably making about 480 or better at the crank. Not bad for a grocery getter.
The engine is a L76 that has had all the displacement on demand crap removed and a mild cam installed. This engine only made 361 flywheel hp in stock trim. The trans is a bone stock 6L80E 6 speed automatic.
