put our 283 in our 67 2 door sedan today with the powerglide and the drive shaft is real short maybe 6 inches or so..
when you measure a drive shaft to repair it. did I measure this right by going to the face of the tranny straight back into the grove the universal joint sits in ? if so that measures like 63 1/2 inches.
and is it a big cost to get a drive shaft reworked to fit. ?
