Drill Holley base plate?

883 Views 2 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  Bowtie70ss
I just realized that the after market 850 Holley double pumper I installed on my 70 SS Elcamino does not have a vacuum port in the correct place to run my PCV valve. The current one runs off of the back of the carb, I need it to come out of the front as I am running the 569 intake and the factory air cleaner. Any ideas? Or should I try to buy a different base plate. The carb is "new" as it has never been on the street but it has been ran on my engine in the garage so I can't return it. I already added an electric choke to it anyway. I just can't see a good way to run the pcv out the back to the driver's side valve cover. Thanks

I thought of the spacer plate deal and I will if I must but I would rather not use the spacer plate. My car has cowl induction and I would be afraid everything wouldn't fit. I guess I could just buy a repop carb but I really prefer the double pumper with a 4 speed.
