With the availability of efficiant electric radiator fans, the necessity for mechanical fans is eclipsed. I understand there are electric water pumps that mount in direct replacement for belt driven water pumps. What I am wondering about is if there is a water pump that exists that is mounted in a different location, perhaps in an accessory bracket, and connected to small flanges mounted to the factory location via hoses.

Yes, I have seen remote pumps but for the life of me I couldnt remember the mgrs name. Sorry.

Meziere makes a few remote pumps and also the block adaptors. I remember seeing them in the Jegs catalog too, dont know who makes the Jegs pumps though. CSR makes water necks with fittings to match too. Only thing is you may have to have some fittings welded onto your radiator if you want to complete the look. Hope this helps
