Does anyone know the where-abouts of a 69 307 Chevelle Mailbu with the black w/yellow letters & numbers CA plates of ZLN415. It was mine from 16yrs. old til I was 30. It started life as Lemans metallic blue. I sold it in Rancho Bernardo CA (San Diego suburb) to older teen. He said he'd like to paint it black. Don't know if he did. I would like try to find it for my son. Thanks for any possible help.

See if you can get the DMV to do a title search on the car. Many years ago needed to verify the owner of someone who hit my car and went to the DMV with the license number. They were able to get me the name and address of the owner. If they still do this you will be able to find out if the car is still registered and who owns it. If you have a friend who is a cop they should be able to do this for you. Good luck.

I found that I sold it to a Brian Wheeler in Escondido, CA around Oct of 1984 (I think it was 1984). Anybody know Brian? Are you out there Brian?
