I have a 65 with a standard steering wheel. I like the look of the 69-70 3 spoke comfort grip that Ground up sells

Can someone please tell me if I buy the kit will it bolt up to a 65 non tilt column. I called ground up and they don't know-Ed

The 69 column is larger diameter than the 65. The hub will fit the spline so you could install it. Not sure about the turn signal cancel cam and horn . If the 3 spokes are flat at the hub location you can use the 65-66 wood wheel hub and install the 3 spoke wheel.

There is a guy on ebay who sells these and he has a smaller hub for the early cars. I`m considering this wheel for my 65 as well.

I was told the difference is the diameter of the column and the hub. They will interchange, but the hub might be lerger in diameter than the column. Again I was told this by someone selling wood wheels at a swap meet, no actual first hand expierience.
