I saw this ad, and wondered if anybody from the area may know something about this. If he's for real I would help him out no problem. But, there are just so many scammers out there, you don't know.

Unless he has some other complications that severely limit physical activity, I don't see what's stopping him.

if it really is his life time dream, he can borrow the money. If he was in need and asked for food, shelter or something he NEEDS, That would be different. Nobody NEEDS a classic car. It's a hobby, an extra, almost an extravagence. Give him the number for the 'Make a Wish Foundation'.

Thats been tried before and it never seems to work. Last year a guy had a 69 Z28 and was trying to pull the same sort of scheme to help finance his car too.

Get real! People are starving and the economy is going to bottom out very soon and this guy wants us to save his ass! Truth be told he has a DRUG problem and needs new needles. Someone should email this guy and see if he will accept a dollar donation. I bet he begs for more than that.

Ah, you beat me to that point! My dad's been using computers about as long as I have and I still have to explain what "lol" means periodically.

No joke, I once saw on ebay a guy had listed a dead fly he found in his 66 chevelle, and was selling it to raise money to restore the car! It brought 22.00!!! Just goes to show you can sell anything on Ebay. The beer tabs I found under my rear seat outta fetch good money don't ya think! Aluminum prices are going up!
