That's steep huh? The thing that I don't understand is that the whole ideal of sending it out to Baldwin Motion and leaving the stock engine. So, basically it was a cosmetic package they put on this car? If that's the case, why would it be more desireable than a real modified Motion car?

Ryan,
If you look at his description on eBay it says the engine was pulled and modified by Motion Performance to phase III specs. Just because it isn't an engine swap, doesn't make it any less cool. It appears to have pretty much the complete conversion, only it still retains the original 396 block.

Absolutely a Beautiful car and I usually don’t comment because I know what it takes to make something so nice, but I have a question. For that kind of money what is with the pictures of the motor showing the incorrect timing cover/tab and a 7” balancer on a square port motor? And one of the pictures off his link is showing it with an automatic flywheel, I guess maybe it was changed to an auto at some time.

Good eye on the timing cover balancer issue. I didn't look at the photobucket pics till you pointed that out.
As for the automatic flywheel, it's possible that it was used to turn the motor over easier while it was mounted to the stand?
The only engine pad shot is a poor one at best with a painted surface. It appears to be a CKO suffix which would have called for an 8" balancer with the pointer style timing tab.

No offense Jeff, but after experiencing a bad exchange between Rosen and myself back in '72, I wouldn't buy anything related to Motion, et.al. He was one, lying scumbag. I know that was a long time ago, however, he advertised and sold something to me that he later recanted. As far as I'm concerned, I have no use for him and never will. What he did to me will never be forgotten. All he wanted was my money, nothing else and there is nothing more that I detest, than the stench of lies.

I have to agree that you have a very fine car there and I hope you sell it to a good owner.

Respectfully,

I don't know if its real or not, but it sure looks like it. But I'm wondering why we don't see any close ups of the floors, floor supports, under the back bumper under the rockers, this car was sold in New jersey, so its been driven where they salt the roads.

Anyway, I'm just looking at the body work on it. I would think anybody spending that kind of money would want a better look at it.

Ribadub, you did look at the 250 pics on photobucket right? They show the car being restored from start to finish. And I agree with you six, Joel is not the easiest person in the world to talk to at all. But he did make some fine cars in his days.

Thanks, Jeff H.

I took the time and looked at every one of them Jeff, and you didn't have any close ups of the rust prone areas.
