If anyone has this manual, would you mind looking to see if theres a write up for removing heater core, especially if the car has AC?
If it does, I'll look to buy the book....

Did you look in the service manual I sent you? The AIM might show the ghosted view of the assembly in the section that has the dash control hook up or in the AC section..??

If you are going to work on your car you should buy the set of GM manuals for it. They lots of details and actual pictures that all apply to your car.
Haynes books not so much.
Not doubt those GM are better, but for what I fo, I've had decent luck with the Haynes, and my antique Motors Manual....👍

I mostly use Motors Manuals for working on cars and Haynes manuals for propping doors open. However, that does not answer your question about the heater box.

Can’t understand why you would be willing to buy a Haynes manual but won’t buy the factory service manual that is specific to your car.
