If so.....can they be installed on motor out of car, then install motor with transmission?
Can they go on from under car, or from the top if motor is already in?

Someone can chime in that has tried these but with the 1 5/8 tubing you should have plenty of room. Now how low they hang - that is a question for someone who has tried these.

Judging only by the picture I suspect it will be hard to change spark plugs and route plug wires without "altering" the headers.
My son called vendor (different headers) and asked about plug clearance and was assured they would clear. NOT. Had to dent several tubes. Stock/original Chevelle clutch linkage hit a pipe.

I hope someone with direct experience with these and answer your questions.

For a G/M Headman headders have the best fit all around for Camaro's Chevelle,s and Nova,s . Alex
