Discussion Starter #1
I just finished putting my battery in the trunk (with the Summit kit) and I don't have any power to the car. I have the two starter wires hooked up right, the alternator wires are hooked up, the neg. cable is grounded to the frame and the pos. cable is tight on the starter. I tried to flip the light switch to see if I had any thing, but nothing turned on. The only thing I can think of is maybe I need a ground wire coming off of the battery cables to the body??? Thanks for your advice!

Body needs to be grounded to work all the interior items. Engine needs a large ground to the frame for the starter. Use the same gage for a ground as the original negative cable. Otherwise you will cook the ground straps.
