The dist vacuum advance on my truck is routed through a tvs. Is that because it wants more vacuum when cold or none? I would think none, bacuse the same tvs also supplies vacuum to the efe valve when cold, but not hot. So I figure-it's not allowing vacuum to the dist when cold but it would when hot, just the opposite of the efe.

What does not allowing advance to the dist when cold do or help with?

Anyone?

Running reduced spark reduces cold start/cold operation emissions by causing the exhaust manifolds to warm up quicker.
