Bandit you have been around here for a long time so I will assume I am reading your post wrong. First 9 out of 10 times when you have a leak on the master cylinder it needs new seals or to be replaced. The bleeder that you mention is usually used for bench bleeding too get air out of the master cylinder. Can you clarify?

Ah, a hidden leak somewhere is what you are hunting?

Have you pulled the brake drums off to see if one of the wheel cylinders is leaking? Sometimes they stay hidden that way for a while with all the fluid going into the inside of the drum.

Theres another way. Ive had speed bleeders on my Chevelle for 10 plus years. I bought some as soon as I discovered them. The bleeders have a one way valve that only lets fluid out, no air in. I crack my bleeders, attach a hose and pump the brake pedal. Very easy

You're Welcome (y) :) but still need to take a look to see if that's where it's going, my dad and me found out the hard way on the side shoulder of I-75 in Tn. going from Fl. to Oh. in his 67 Ford Ranger with a " Souped Up" police Interceptor motor, bad wheel cylinder and hitch hiked to town to a parts store to replace it on the side of the interstate, fun times
