Could anyone explain to me how to disconnect the dash harness from the fuse box. thanks.

As far as I know the fuse box is permanently attached to the inside wiring harness. You must remove the center bolt from the engine/front lighting harness on the engine side of the firewall and then you can remove the bolts that hold the fuse box to the dash side of the firewall. But the wires don't come off of the fuse box unless you cut them off.

You can push the fuse clips out of the box and disconnect the wires from the fuse panel face. I guess the same could be said about the firewall connector wires. But you can't disconnect the harness from the box.
