i have a 70 chevelle, i converted if to front disc with a complete kit, included was a booster and rod, m/c, prop valve and complete spindles with brakes... i installed this kit and cannot get a pedal at all, my problem is i have no front brakes. the brakes bleed fine with lots of pressure when bleeding, you have a good pedal, you wait ten sec and the pedal goes to the floor, again you have no front brakes you can pump it up and its got a good pedal but no front brakes.. ive put new m/c on, new prob valve, and still nothing, im tired of fooling with it i need help so any sugestions would be helpful. thanks

hard to say, i would start with correct pushrod length, both from the pedal to booster, and booster to MC-did you bench bleed the MC
could still be air, either front or rear
what did you use for a combo valve, one designed for disc/drum-is the light hooked up to the valve, showing if the valve is stuck one way or the other

It sounds like you did everything correct. I hope this doesn't sound too stupid but does the booster have pressure, maybe its leaking air and allows the pedal to go back down. I know I had to replace my nieces on a newer car because it was leaking causing the pedal to go down.

Double check your lines are tight from the caliper to the prop-valve to the master cylinder. A loose line will allow air to be sucked back in. Also inspect the rubber lines for a leak - don't assume a new line won't leak. Does your prop valve have the button on the front you have to push-in while bleeding the brakes? I always forget about it for the first 5 minutes of bleeding the brakes.
