Hi All -

I'm picking up some A-body bucket seats, and I wanted to be certain what years they are correct for. They have metal backs and bottom trim, no seat back release button, i.e., they don't lock in the upright position. Are these correct for 66 & 67?

No seat back release and metal backs would be 66. Look underneath the bottom in the springs, you may get lucky and find the option tag with the year and option number on it.

Thanks for the info. So do 67 buckets have the seat back release button on the side like 68's? And was 66 the only year for metal seat backs on the A-body?

Yes, '67 seats have the release on the side like '68's, and both '66 and '67 have the metal seat backs.
