I have a 70 SS dash and need to remove the,Tach<speedo and clock dials. I gave them a good pull and they don't seem to want to come off.Anyone know any tricks to do this or am I just doing it wrong.Thanks

Tach dial does not come off, do not pull on it you will damage the mechanism.
Remove the 3 screws that hold the face on and carefully slide it off around the dial.
If you plan on repainting the dials be very very light on the tach dial, too much paint will cause the needle to fall below 0 at rest and cannot be adjusted.

Speedo will come off by gently rotating the dial to left of 0, then past 120, back and forth until you feel it loosen, then pull straigt off.

Clock dials (especially the second hand) just takes some strong fingers, trying rocking side to side a little (and i stress little) as you pull off. The other hands should just pull off.
