Hi all, so i thought id try be smart (failed) and bought a comp degree kit (heads off version)..

Lock degree TDC 0 mark to true tdc
Zero pointer at intake max lift.
Rotate clockwise to 0.050 BEFORE zero - note degree wheel (I get 165)
COntinue to rotate clockwise to 0.050 AFTER zero - note degree wheel (75)

Add both (240) / 2 - I get 120, spec card calls for 106?

I must be retarded but missing sth? Reading wrong numbers? Triple checked true TDC and lifter -

Ok - to my embarrassment I had the cam off 1 tooth for the first time ever (100+ motors), just so HAPPENED it was the first time i degreed it (Praise the Lord)!

Tip: Working on a engine stand set the motor STRAIGHT up not angled, that way your old eyes cant play tricks on you!

Ended up with a 105.5 ICL but the degree wheel has about a degree of play so happy -
