My guess would be that it's stamped steel, not pot metal. Pot metal is more expensive to manfacture/chrome and re-chrome. Stick a magnet to it. If it sticks, it's steel. Pot metal won't...
Dealer emblem restoration
I have an original dealer emblem that needs replating. I believe it's made of pot metal. Anyone know where I could have this done?
