Time for new flange gaskets, I have always used paper, but want to upgrade, whats your preference? Are the dead soft Aluminum, or Copper all there ad says they are?
I like the Fel-Pro Graphite. never leak, re-use endlessly. I had a pair on the 57 pickup with 327, 4 years later I pulled the headers, the gaskets fell off and were re-usable. They're still on the engine 6 years later, that's good enough for me. Bunches cheaper that that over-hyped copper or aluminum stuff too.
