Recently bought a 69 SS that was originally Daytona Yellow. Car is blue now, but will be yellow again! Not a lot of original parts left on the car, but was able to find some factory chalk marks on the firewall tonight. Thought it was kinda cool considering there was 3 or 4 coats of paint on the firewall. I know the markings on the left side would be 76 for the paint, but can't figure out the other one as it doesn't match the trim or an engine/ trans designation. Any ideas?

Thanks for the pic John and TJ. Both very nice cars. Looks like mine did not have the SS stripe...I'm kinda torn about leaving the vinyl top off and putting a stripe on, or vinyl top and no stripe, or put both on

Agreed that is probably part of 13637 showing.
Clean a bit farther down to see if you find anything like what I found on the firewall pictured below.

The more I look at it, I think it's a 56...should have some time to dig into it a little more tomorrow evening.
