I just recently purchased as 70 malibu sport coupe, 307, automatic, and have begun the wonderful process of restoration. However, I'm perplexed on the removal of then entire dashboard. Does anyone have any suggestions or instructions on the best way to remove the dash assembly?

thanks

Been a little while but here goes.
Start off by removing the dash pad, screws going up into pad from under lip of dash. One or two inside the glovebox.
Next there are 6 or 7 screws that hold the entire dash in. You will need to drop your steering wheel by removing the two nuts that hold it up because there is a dash screw underneath the dash ontop of the steering column. I put a 5 gallon bucket on the passenger side to hold the dash up while I disconnected all the wiring. That's all folks.
You can do a search in the chevelle tech 2002 or the interior sections for dash removal as this question comes up routinely. Good luck
