I have a 70 chevelle/malibu with the factory sweep dash and just bought a 72 monte at a swap meet with next to perfect buckets,console,tilt steering etc. I am wanting to swap dashes,thought it would be as easy as pulling the fuse box out with each dash swaping it all around and pluging everything back in? I have done alittle reading on this and it seems there is alittle wiring to change. If i could get a run down of what im facing or a schematic that would be great! Both cars are t/k cars both a/c cars. Thanks for any help. Danny

It would be best to find a 70 dash harness to use with that dash, or sell that dash and get the correct one for a 70. 1970 did not have the fasten seat belt light that a 72 had. It is possible to alter that harness to make it work, but you better know what you are doing.

thanks for the info. so basicly switch the pins on the engine side harness and plug into the 72 fuse block?
