I seem to have run into a little problem. The car is a 67 malibu with a 350. When I was installing a radio last night I was checking in the rats nest of wires for an accessory power wire, and when i came accross on I accidentaly stroked accross some bare metal. blew the fuse for the dash. My problem is now, that I have replaced the fuse but the dash lights won't come on, and the fule gauge doesn't work. The turn signal lites also stay on all the time. Not on the exterior of the car just on the dash. All the fuses are the correct amperage and in good condition. Any ideas.

Steveo,

While it's possible you wiped something out, I'd check for grounds first. The dash is a really bad area when these aren't done right. All sorts of screwy things start to happen. Make sure your gauge cluster has a ground from the back of it going to something like the parking brake or firewall area. If it doesn't, not a bad idea to add one anyway.
