What color was the dash, not the pad but the part where the windshield meets the dash, where the radio speaker slots are. And also the part of the door above the door panel. Were they originally the color of the car? Or were the all black or what. Thanks in advance.

Not sure if it is true of all years, but I believe they should be the same as the overall interior color. I can't recall seeing any two tone looking interiors.

It is a 67 chevelle and the dash and doors are the same as the car but the interior is black. Is this correct or incorrect?

May want to look for a build sheet. My brother in law has a 2 tone interior on his 72 that's factory. Black headliner, carpet, dash, doors w/saddle seats. Nice look!

Steve, On my 67 which is red w/red interior, the front of the dash is the same color as the console and frontseat backs. It's also not a high gloss.
