Hello I purchased a repo ss dash for my 71 convertible from opgi and it didn't have the hole for the convertible top switch so I need to cut one. Anyone have a picture of the hole u cut or measurements as it looks like more than just a circle needs to be cut. And also what tool did u make the cut with for a clean job. Thanks

I made a template for my 72 SS dash. Here's the dimensions you need.
Do u mind if I ask what tool you used to make your cuts with? Trying to get it to come out clean without hacking up the dash too much. Thanks

I put some masking tape on the dash and traced my template. I then used an 1/8" drill around the inside of my tracing. After the the majority plastic was removed, I used some fine hand files to clean it up. a dremel would work too.

Hope that makes sense?
