you can use the red/green/blue assembly bearing companies provide or a 50/50 mix of STP and motor oil. Or, if you know it will be fired up soon you can use motor oil, a straight 30 wt racing or diesel type oil.

So no grease of any kind required? I heard white grease? I've done these before, but have only pressure lubed them before firing...never used grease.

I like Clevite's red bearing lube :thumbsup:

I used Clevelite's bearing guard, I would either use that or oil, defiantly not any kind of grease.. Also just to throw this in, make DARN SURE that the crank has been thoroughly cleaned several times (including the oil passages) before you install it..
