I just bought a 70 Chevelle that needs alot of work! I'm 21 and have never welded in my life so after I bought the car I bought a welder and taught myself to weld. I had no clue how to tackle this project of replacing the cowl with a donor cowl but from talking to a couple ppl I just jumped into it. I think it turned out great. Everyday I work on it I learn something new about chevelles and to me that's the best part!

He gave me a section of the old cowl with my tag on it and I just welded that in place

What about your VIN?

Under federal law you can attach the VIN to the new cowl without having to section it in via welding.
