Hey Guys,

Does anyone have a source for a Quality 1970 Cowl Induction Air Cleaner Seal? I purchased a few from the various reproduction companies and I can't get it to stand open like it should, always collapses on itself like this:

Thanks,

When you get a new seal, it comes in the package inside out. Most people install it upside down and inside out. I saw it on 2 cowl induction cars at the AACA show I was at a couple weeks ago. Invert it, then install it around the ring with the little 90 degree flap around the bottom part of the ring lip. It will seam like it won't go, but it will.

Nothing wrong with the seal, you have it on up side down
I did try and reverse it but it will not stand-up, remains in the collapsed position. I compared to my friends, his seems to have more air inside which makes it pop back in place when the hood is raised, mine has been creased from having it on the car for a few years.
