1. What might the reason be that my car won't go in reverse?
2. Is a high revving normal to go in drive?
3. In the drive position is it normal for the car to roll?

I have a 1969 Chevelle Malibu with a 350 automatic transmission. Thanks for the help!

First thing to do is check for low transmission fluid, what you are describing sounds like it is low on fluid or not picking up fluid from the trans pan

Try A Couple Of Things Check Fluid, Take Pan Off And Replace The Filter, It Could Be Plugged! Otherwise Chances R Its In Need Of A Rebuild
