I have a 66 with no interior that I am doing a body off restoration on. The seats are there and they will have to be recovered. The dash is in good enough shape to keep, but the buttons are all in bad shape. So basically I'm gonna need floor carpet, trunk carpet, every panel in the car, the seats recovered, a headliner, probably seatbelts, and some other misc items. I was just wondering what I am looking at as far as cost. I wanna put some bucket seats in it too, but the don't have to be chevelle, its just gonna be a street car. I am not worried about originality. Tell you the truth I would be happy if there were some cavalier seats in there, just as long as the matched or were covered the same as the interior. What do yall think I'm lookin at as far as cost, ballpark figure?

That depends... Do you want to do all the work yourself??? You can get a pretty-much complete kit for about $1000-$1200, figure $2000 with paint, glue, dash chrome (and other pieces not in the kits), shipping, "Chevelle" buckets (cores) etc... More if you want a factory console...

I think Grand Am seats are supposed to be pretty comfortable and plentiful in wrecking yards, but then you have to get "custom" upholstery...
