Thanks guys. Do I need any kind of valve at the connection to the manifold? Or just a fitting to screw into the manifold that accepts the right sized hose to then connect to the booster?

No special fitting needed.

That's what I thought. Its already attached @ the brake booster. So I just need the fitting and the hose. Thank you!

Make sure you use Brake Booster Hose, fuel line hose or any other hose has weak walls and will collapse if used on the Brake Booster, Good luck with your car!!

I use that same port for my brake booster, with a 90 degree brass fitting.

Are you running a manual transmission. If so you are good to go...If not and running an Automatic ... depending on which Trans you are running you may need a Tee type of fitting with a large hose end for the Brake booster and a smaller hose end for the Trans Kick down vacuum line. A 2 speed Power Glide and 3 speed Turbo Hydromantic 350 requires this. If running a TH400 it is electric... again no need for the tee fitting. If running a newer type of trans it may need this...I am not sure Probably electric computerized etc...
