My trunk currently has what looks to be the houndstooth style trunk mat - it's the type that has fibers on the surface. I want to replace it but not sure if herringbone is correct or houndstooth - Ground up's catalog shows herringbone correct for 70.

What would be the correct style.

I just got the Ground up houndstooth for my 70. My 72 has houndstooth in it. I was told this or another one could be correct in that year

The trunk mat in my car is herringbone and thats the one that came with the car off the assembly line.

When I got home last night I compared my mat to the pics in the catalog - I do indeed have herringbone.

Dad's long gone '70 Biscayne had a herringbone trunk mat from new (yes, the Biscayne had a trunk mat up to that year.)
