what is the correct color for my 1972 ss 5 spoke rims?

Could be wrong but I thought a 72SS would have rally wheels not 5 spoke like the '69 and '70. The rally would be Argent Silver.

The color you want (if you spray bomb it) is "Details:Insert Gray" By our sponsor,Ground Up.HOWEVER,IMO it's a tad too dark,and I've had great success with Plastikote's Rebuilders Cast Finish Grey.A few other TC guys have used the Plastikote and was impressed with the results.

Year One sells the correct paint for these wheels, which is a lighter shade of gray than the insert gray. This paint will have that sandy looking textured look to it when it dries, like it did when it was new.
