I have posted to this forum, not knowing which one could be proper. If not, please move.
I'm running the original 1967 Holley carburetor on my '67 427-390hp Corvette. Over the years, it has been rebuilt many times, by several different local rebuilders, but never seemed to turn out just right. I don't necessarily want to go the full blown rebuild with recoloring and all that stuff, just a correct and properly done rebuild that I can bolt back on, adjust the idle mixture and speed, and it work like it did 40 years ago.
Can anyone suggest a competent Holley rebuilder?

doesnt holley offer the service? If it were mine, id just see what the stock jets and pump cam etc it should be stock, clean it real well, and just kit it myself. I would check the throttle shaft to make sure its not all wobbly, if so, get a bushing kit and you should be good to go. jim

Holley does still offer rebuilding service, and all I've heard about them has been positive. They've got the right parts, that's for sure.
I like the idea of using Holley. They ought to know how to rebuild one.
However, if any visible parts might need replacing, will they use original style parts?

Holley messed up my throttle plate. They tried to rebush the secondary throttle shaft. Replaced with a new throttle plate, which is not what I wanted.

Have Eric do your work. Most likley your metering blocks have never had the well plugs or emulsion plugs cleaned and replaced. That did the trick for me thanks to Eric.
