Dear Guys, could anyone please tell me what is appropriate maintenance for a 1969 convertible power top. Everything seems to work well, I was just thinking about lubrication or the joints where different assemblies come together to make for smoother sailin'. I there any routine maintenance that should be done? Thanks in advance. R.B.

Lubrication of all moving parts would be good to do. Keep the top clean, apply silicone spray to the rubber seals, check the hose connections for leaks, add fluid if the operation gets sluggish (although it shouldn't need any additional fluid with a tight system), raise the top when it's still warm out instead of when the temperature goes down. Can't think of anything else.
